Saltsuit® is proudly designed in New Zealand and 100% handmade under fair-trade conditions in Bali, Indonesia.
We work closely with our small, skilled production team to ensure exceptional quality, ethical working conditions, and responsible manufacturing practices at every stage of production. Each piece is created using high-quality, locally sourced fabrics, supporting local communities and economies in both Indonesia and New Zealand.
With a strong focus on classic, non-seasonal designs, Saltsuit® releases styles individually as our collection grows organically and sustainably. We are not driven by trends or fast-fashion cycles. Instead, we design timeless swimwear made to be worn and loved summer after summer, season after season.
Saltsuit® exists as the opposite of fast fashion—creating pieces that flatter a diverse and beautiful range of body shapes, sizes, and ethnicities, while maintaining a commitment to longevity, fit, and craftsmanship.
Sustainability plays a key role behind the scenes, from non-plastic packaging to the use of locally sourced materials, fabrics, and dyes, helping us minimise our environmental footprint wherever possible.

Items purchased at discounted prices are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange. Faulty items will be replaced following inspection by our team.
Exchanges are accepted only if the product is unworn, with hygiene stickers still attached. Saltsuit® is not responsible for return or exchange shipping costs.
All online orders are shipped from our head office in Auckland, New Zealand, within 1–2 business days. We take great care to package all orders ethically, sustainably, and securely, and always aim to expedite shipping where possible.
